Chef Luca leads Cucina Luca with a deep passion for authentic Italian cuisine. His journey began in 2020 with “DaNang Fresh Pasta,” where his handcrafted pasta quickly won the hearts of locals and visitors.
Now, at Cucina Luca, Chef Luca continues to focus on traditional Italian cooking, featuring classic pasta and fresh, seasonal ingredients. With a daily changing menu, each dish reflects the best of the market, capturing the spirit of Italy in every bite.
Born in Italy’s Marche region, famed for its pasta, Chef Luca Fecarotta grew up savoring homemade pasta crafted by his grandmother. His curiosity about flavors, aromas, and high-quality ingredients—like Parmigiano Reggiano and Mediterranean fish—blossomed during his countryside upbringing. Although he initially pursued a career as an accountant, he eventually followed his passion for street photography and traveled the world.
Six years ago, he arrived in Vietnam, where he fell in love with the local culture and cuisine, and met his wife in Da Nang. In 2020, Chef Luca opened Cucina Luca, quickly winning hearts until the COVID-19 pandemic caused a temporary closure.
Now, in early 2025, the restaurant has reopened in An Thuong area, Da Nang, where he continues to delight guests with his love for authentic Italian cuisine.
